Southwest Greens has recently celebrated 15 years in the EMEA region — an achievement we are pleased with. From a “cowboy” beginning of appropriating a synthetic soccer field and labeling it a tee box to customized solutions that appear and feel authentic — a great deal has changed.
At Southwest Greens, we begin developing with an eye on the final result. We make every effort to create artificial putting green turf that has the same appearance of genuine turf. The behavior we stated is relating to ball behavior — more specifically — bounce, aim, and roll.
Bounce, aim, and roll speaks of the underlying technology behind our artificial putting green turf products. This project is known as “Science Behind The Surface,” and we review our synthetic system against genuine grass using a playability assessment tool.
